Welcome to Money Beyond Borders!

Navigating health insurance, keeping up with your student loans, your mortgage and credit card debt, putting kids through college, taking care of elderly parents, saving for your own retirement…it’s all quite exhausting, and oftentimes, complicated.

What is a balance sheet? Is it the same as one a corporation uses? How do you track net worth – what we like to call “net wealth” — and why is it important? Is it okay to take a vacation despite this debt piling up?

As my favorite motivational speaker Les Brown always said, “Life is hard”.

Yes, you’ve heard that before. The point he goes on to make is that, yes, life is hard, but don’t seek out a life that simply avoids difficulty. Perhaps his most profound piece of work states the following:

“The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.”

Here at Money Beyond Borders, we believe in people…we believe in you. We seek to demystify the complexities of everyday life so that people can get on with living.
